Anle Gou makes a double debut at the Royal Opera Festival Kraków and at the Rossini in Wildbad

The renowned Viennese magazine Neue Merker defined him as “one of the most significative Rossini tenor of the new generation”, while recently  Das Opernmagazin and Der Opernfreund stated that “he has the world of Belcanto widely open to him” and that “his name should be remembered”.

In July Anle Gou will add two new roles to his repertoire: Paolo Monti in Pierre de Médicis by Poniatowski and Jago in Otello by Rossini (version Rome 1820). 


The two operas will be presented in a concert version at the Royal Opera Festival Kraków (July 4 & 7) and at the Rossini in Wildbad Festival (July 24 & 26). On the podium two renowned conductors: José Miguel Pérez-Sierra for the French opera by Prince Poniatowski and Antonino Fogliani for Rossini’s Otello. In the cast Francesco Meli, making his  debut in the Rossini’s title role beside Diana Haller as Desdemona.


Before this double debut, Anle Gou will perform Gamari in Isacco by Marianna Martines, from June 5 to June 26, at the Theater an Der Wien - Wiener Kammeroper. Among the upcoming engagements: Handel’s Messiah with the Wuppertaler SinfonieorchesterIl Turco in Italia and Il Barbiere di Siviglia in Glyndebourne
