Alejandro Luévanos makes his European debut as Don José in Carmen at the LNOBT Vilnius

This week, on May 8, Alejandro Luévanos will make his long awaited European debut, performing Don José in Bizet’s Carmen at the Lithuanian Opera & Ballet Theatre of Vilnius. 

The Mexican tenor, former member of the Chicago Lyric Opera young ensemble, will join the Artistic Director of the House, Maestro Martynas Stakionis, who will conduct the revival of the highly acclaimed production by Arnaud Bernard. 

The cast include Jolana Slavíkova as Carmen, Austėja Zinkevičiutė as Micaëla and Mindaugas Tomas Miškinis as Escamillo.
