Anle Gou to make his debut as Don Ramiro at the Landestheater Detmold


On February 14, the tenor Anle Gou is set to make his role debut as Don Ramiro in Rossini's La Cenerentola at the Landestheater Detmold, under the baton of Per-Otto Johansson and in the new production by Christopher Cowell.


The cast includes Rina Hirayama (Angelina), Ricardo Llamas Márquez (Don Magnifico), Andreas Jören (Dandini), Jaime Mondaca Galaz/Hojin Chung (Alidoro), Johanna Nylund/Christin Stanowsky (Clorinda) and Lotte Kortenhaus/Franziska Pfalzgraf (Tisbe).


For Gou, defined by the Online Merker as "one of the most significant Rossini tenors of the new generation", this is a new role debut after Gernando/Ubaldo in Armida and Conte Almaviva in Il Barbiere di Siviglia.


Performances on February 25, 28, March 2, 7, 15, 23, April 5, 23, 26, May 7,8, June 18.
